Back to Natural - The macRitchie Treetop Walk

Well, after all those stress of work, it came to the weekends! In Singapore, what people can do in the weekends are normally Shopping Shopping & Shopping! There are shops everywhere, yeah, what I meant is everywhere, every MRT station. When you off to work, you will pass a shopping mall. when you are going to take a bus, there is shopping mall. When you want to go back home, you will definitely run into a shopping mall as well.

Although Singapore is damn stressful for the work and people longing for buying stuff to detress, but I will say the government is really doing a good job in reserving the park, which allow the people to destress, with zero cost! [hmm..probably just little spending on the transportation to get there?]

macRitchie track can be accessed by many places, one of the "common" meet up point is the marynmount MRT, which is next to Bishan by Circle MRT route. Of course, the resevoir park will not access right beside the MRT station, as I said, only shopping malls are allowed to be next to the MRT station :X We need to take a bus or walk to the entrance.
Hmm..we did spent a little time on asking people, losing our ways on the way we get there. I will say, it should be an easy way, but my friend and I may abit stupid? haha...anyway, we get to the entrance eventually.

macRitchie resevoir park is such a big park and we chose to get to TreeTop for the view. The trail is approximately 4.5 km from the park entrance. it is a very easy track, with a little bit sloop. It will be rated as "easy" by difficulties to me since I did a lot of hiking when I traveled around New Zealand and also in my hometown.
Oh ya, please make sure you wear the correct shoes for tracking, and also plenty of water because there is only one water filling point at Ranger Station (I  didn't notice how far is it from the entrance but I was shortage of drinking water by the time I get there).

The view on the way to get TreeTop Bridge. It was a nice weather day though, the water stood still so the reflection was so obvious!

And finally we arrived the TreeTop Bridge! There was a small "guard" house with a staff that control the visitor on the bridge. These are photos of the bridge and the view from the bridge!

It was disappointing when we found the treetop bridge was quite short, maybe we expect more? However, the bridge was very stable and safe.
After the TreeTop bridge, from map we saw a Jelutong tower house and we decided to take a look and here it is...

Along of trail there were alot of monkeys, sitting around, playing around, hanging around..

and digging around....
